Ensign is well known in the UK through the lovely ponies bred at Trellech some of which are included in the list of his progeny.   He is a lovely pony of immense quality, which he passes on to his stock.  He stands at private stud and has only been made available to outside mares via an AI programme.

We feel with the inclusion of this wonderful Riding Pony Stallion via AI, that NZ is most fortunate and we should now be well able to advance our breeding programmes, something some of us are so keen to do.

Ensigns first Kiwi kid is a lovely chestnut filly who’s owner is absolutely delighted with her.
